3653 BRYANT AVENUE SOUTH

Bliss for everyone, Lily sleeping peacefully at home.

It appears as if she sleeps all the time, but really she spends a lot of time awake and expressing herself.

First visit to the peditrician, Lily liked the aquariam.
The doctor noted she had gained weight and is back on track as a normal baby.
HERO: Dr. McKeand who brought Lily into the world, and took care of Alison.
First bath. Lily is a Noodle and Boo baby (sweet smelling)
First stroller ride, started out much like the first car ride, but we all got used to it after awhile.

LILY GOES HOME

One last look at the area where Lily spent her first two weeks.

The carseat didn't go over well, at first.

Lily in her Damutz/Bensen cousin's lucky going-home cap and booties.

Lily arrives home.

AT THE NICU

We spent a lot of time at Lily's bedside. We were the only people touching her without laytex gloves on. She seemed to crave our holding and talking with her. (so did we)

Grandma Elizabeth is Lily's first visitor!

ROUGH START

Just born. Dad gets to hold Lily before she is taken to the Special Care Nursery.

Lily's first days at the NICU. She is already showing signs of improvement and the ventilator is replaced with a canella.

Mom visits Lily for the first time.

Lily's name was not official until Alison could meet her. She was tagged "GIRL STUERMAN" at intake to the NICU...look at the size of that foot.

We could view Lily at the NICU on a closed circuit station from Alison's post pardom room at Abbott.

WAITING

We are very eagerly awaiting the babies arrival. Craig Parent at Rick's work told him chinese food could bring on labor.

After dinner we go for a walk with Marcel, it feels cool, like fall might be on the way.

The cats are entertained and curious about all we do.

And finally, three times a day I 'invert' as a way to 'turn' the baby.
